MIXING UP COLOURS

Give it a try, you will see.

All along the three following weeks our dearest second graders will tackle with mixing up colours to make a new one.

It's a song for children about mixing colors to make new colours.

First we started by painting the rainbows with primary colors and explained them how to mix colors.

They used the brand new palattes and had a great time using the paint brushes, q-tips, and different color paints.

While learning about primary colors and how to mix them to make secondary colors our second graders got artsy and painted Egyptian vases.

Next step.
We'll deal with Spinning Tops.
They're very fond of them.

Last stop...
We´re travelling to Ancient Rome! To finish up with the mixing up colors project we will put in practice that knowledge to paint Romans´ tunics

Do It Yourself memory cards game .

Let's make a beautiful set of  Egyptian pharaohs life memory game pieces, it will provide the first graders a great gift !!!

It's a little time consuming crafts , but overall it is a really fun project that will turn out looking amazing.

The kids loved it, and got really excited when they flipped over the pieces to reveal

cards drawn by themselves.What a feeling !

How to play.

(2-4 players)

Mix up your cards.

Lay out the 44 face down.

Take turns selecting and

turning over any two cards at a time.

If they are a match, if they are not, turn them back over.

Try to remember what each card looks like

and where it is located.

Once all cards have been matched,

the player with the most pairs is the winner.
