FISHING IN THE OLD STONE AGE

Fishing is an ancient practise,dating back at least 40,000 years.

It was a job usually given to a younger boys who were still not ready for hunting.

First graders are on his trip throughout Old Stone Age in Arts and Crafts they will decorate their own scaled fish.

As well they get to know the Rainbow fish.

To indulge them in their fish decoration.

To elicit kids to be more productive in English we'll be singing out loud these colour songs.

OUR LITTLE MERMAIDS

As a complement to the theatre play "The Little Mermaid" seen by our students this year, they have prepared a very original craft in which they had to convert a mermaid into a girl.

They have enjoyed a lot the process ... and they have loved the results!!!

 But they have really had a great time during the play. Look at them !!!

This pretty song is a good example of Calypso Music. Let´s watch the way they play the Caribbean steel drums.

Calypso Music is a style of Afro-Caribbean music that  was originated in Trinidad and Tobago during the early to mid-20th century.

Its rhythms can be traced back to west African Kaiso and the arrival of French planters and their slaves from the French Antilles in the 1700s.
