EGYPTIAN DAILY LIFE

Second graders will deep into ancient Egypt life all along this first school term.
This video provides plenty of knowledge about that period.
In Arts and Crafts we´ll carry on with Egyptian jewerly.
At the moment we´re focusing our attention on necklaces.

Our beautiful Egyptian kids modeling their awesome pectorals.

Can´t help to love those happy faces!

Our amazing assistant Alma and Emma

In Ancient Egypt they were named "pectorals".
This form of jewellery was mostly worn by rich people and the pharaoh himself.
Statements in Egyptian language hieroglyhs were used as an adorment on the pectorals.

EGYPTIAN JEWELRY

To end with our term themed topic "The Land of the Pharaohs" we are creating both an Egyptian
bracelet and a collar necklace.

This is kind of fun.
We are doing this amazing bracelet with toilet rolls and curved pasta pieces. They´re gold-painted
and paste to be wore later, on the performance.

Brais shows off his just gold-painted bracelet.
Everyone do at its pace.
They are really careful !

This little team is glueing the small pieces of painted pasta to decorate their Egyptian bracelets.
