CONSTELLATIONS

We have given a warm welcome to our students this school year by encouraging them to start working on the school's year project THE UNIVERSE . Our 6th grade students have prepared some of the constellations as their contribution to decorate the roof of the school library.

     Papirus is very exited with the new decoration !!!

BATS, BATS, BATS

Bats are flying mammals that have a rather unique appearance.

Many people find them ugly and frightening.

Because they are nocturnal they are automatically associated with things that are dark and evil.

Although most bats eat insects and eat fruit,a few bats will dine on blood.

All along these two weeks the second graders are decoratig the main hall with their hanging bats.

WHAT IS HALLOWEEN ?

Halloween is the scariest night of year.

All around the world people celebrate spookiness.

On 31 October there are loads of Halloween traditions.

If you go to a party,expect stuff like :

Scary fancy dress

Making pumpkin lanterns.

Trick or treating.

Bobbing for apples.

Telling ghost stories.

Both first and second graders are decorating really lovely witches that you soon will have at home.They've spent nearly three long lessons to give the "touch"on them.
